Description: Lovesick is inspired by a beach shore experience that stems from living in Ponte Vedra Beach; however, the feeling transcended from the sunsets of Orange County, California. The tone of this self-expression of an art piece resembles my feelings towards losing a lover, depression, and COVID deaths. Music was a massive contributor to this art piece because art truly is a cure for all my feelings and emotions. The mixture of music and beach sceneries tend to be very beneficial for me as the moon and ocean waters tend to soothe my mood swings. As many faces are displayed in this art piece, you tend to see characters that express romantic partnerships or frantic gestures. This conveys my doubts about romantic relationships with people during this time. Also, shows my shapeshifting abilities with my emotions when I am in different environments. I tend to feel out of place or out of character dealing with specific domains such as a bar, new state, interactions with law enforcement, etc. This piece is dedicated to saying screw all bad things that bring you down and revealing positive things that uplift your spirit.
